Layal Dandache is a programme manager for Egypt at the DROSOS FOUNDATION. She is a multi-disciplinary development practitioner with more than 17 years of experience with a special focus on rural development, economic and social inclusion and social entrepreneurship. Before joining DROSOS, Dandache worked at the International Development Research Centre, in knowledge management on food security, covering 10 countries in the MENA region. She is also an evaluation aficionado and has worked in evaluation and communication for development at the American University of Beirut.
Dandache has an academic background in Agricultural Sciences from the American University of Beirut (BSc and MSc.) complemented with a number of advanced trainings in “Multi-stakeholder Policy Analysis and Action planning”, “Outcome Mapping”, knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation and action research.
