Mina El Naggar is the founder and managing director of Medfest Eg, as well as an actor and physician. El Naggar founded Medfest Eg in 2017, a touring short film festival, which is the first of its kind in the MENA region that sheds light on the interrelation between health, filmmaking and social impact. The festival operates year-round, hosting cinema clubs across six governorates, organizing international screenings, and collaborating with prestigious festivals such as El Gouna Film Festival, Malmo Arab Film Festival, and Cairo International Film Festival. A key focus of Medfest Eg is promoting mental well-being within the filmmaking industry. As an actor, he participated in many TV series and films such as, Rivo 1 & 2, El Ekhtiyar, El Gamaa 2, Gabal el Halal Asham and Ezaaet Hob.
