Mena Yousry is a filmmaker, programmer, and cultural and artistic manager. He is the founder and director of Megraya in Mallawi, Minya, a position he has held since 2014. Yousry is particularly interested in managing and programming film screenings through alternative platforms in Upper Egypt.

In 2019, he directed his first short documentary, which was featured in numerous festivals and screening programs in Egypt, Tunisia, and Palestine. His work focuses on the relationship between humans and cities outside central and major urban areas, exploring the intersection of individual and collective memory.
