Neveen Kenawy is the founder and artistic director of “She Arts Festival” and Head of Programming at the Arts Centre, Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
She is also deputy director of the Cairo International Jazz Festival, an artistic consultant at Fabrica Musical Theatre, and a member of the advisory committee at Centre Rézodanse – Egypte.

Kenawy is also the artistic director and general coordinator for the International Summer Festival organized by Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Jazz Tales Fest. As one of the most active females in Egypt’s cultural scene, she was selected by the German Embassy in Egypt in December 2022 for a visitor program in Germany.

In 2020, Kenawy became the first female jury member from the Arab region for Jazzahead in Bremen, Germany, and has served as a jury member for various local music competitions.

Earlier in her career, in 2011, she participated in the European Voluntary Service (EVS) in Turkey, where she contributed to street festivals in Mardin and the Art Mails Mural Project.

She holds an artistic criticism Diploma and master’s degree in film music from the Academy of Arts, Cairo, Egypt, and earned a certification in strategic planning from the American Chamber.
