Teatro Al Saeed has evolved from a small theater group into a thriving artistic institution, organizing events and supporting independent artists. Since its inception in 2014, Teatro Al Saeed has trained 17 cohorts in its performing arts academy, hosted numerous plays and shows, and provided a platform for emerging talent in Minya. Despite facing financial challenges, Teatro Al Saeed has persevered and expanded its reach, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic when it launched the “Monolog Carnival,” featuring online performances and workshops.
Like other independent artists in Egypt, Teatro Al Saeed faces challenges related to funding and access to resources. However, the organization has remained resilient and sought support from programs like Nahdet El Mahrousa’s Creative Industry program (El Garage). This one-year program offers various business and technical support that is geared specifically to those in handicrafts and performing arts, where support includes funding, art management, various business topics depending on the needs of each cohort, technical consultations, and a variety of administrative support services like financial and legal matters.
While maintaining its focus on nurturing talent, Teatro Al Saeed has also established its own model of incubation, “Teatro Al Saeed Incubation for Performing Arts” that offers workshops, rehearsal space, and production assistance to other performing arts groups in Minya and surrounding areas. In addition, they organized The Minya Festival for Short Performances “Mahragan Al Minya lel ‘orood Al Qaseera, likely the first of its kind in Minya. The festival was supported by Goethe-Institut and Nahdet El Mahrousa.
Teatro Al Saeed’s commitment to empowering artists extends beyond its own productions. The organization aims to simplify the path for future generations, as articulated by its founder, Kero Saber. By sharing their experiences and resources, Teatro Al Saeed seeks to create a healthy arts community in Minya and beyond.

استطاعت فرقة تياترو الصعيد أن تتطور من فرقة مسرحية إلى مؤسسة فنية تنظم فعاليات وتدعم الفنانين المستقلين. منذ تأسيسها عام 2014، قامت تياترو الصعيد بتدريب 17 مجموعة في أكاديميتها، بالإضافة إلى استضافة العديد من المسرحيات والعروض، وتوفير منصة للمواهب الناشئة في المنيا.

واجهت فرقة تياترو الصعيد تحديات تتعلق بالتمويل والوصول إلى الموارد مثل حال معظم الفنانين المستقلين الآخرين في مصر. على الرغم من تلك المصاعب، تمكنت تياترو الصعيد من الصمود وتوسيع نطاق عملها، خاصة خلال أزمة كوفيد-19 عندما أطلقت “مهرجان المونولوج”، الذي يقدم العروض الفنية وورش العمل عبر الإنترنت.
سعت الفرقة للحصول على دعم من برامج مثل برنامج الصناعة الإبداعية (الجراج) في نهضة المحروسة. يقدم هذا البرنامج طرق دعم متنوعًا للأشخاص و الشركات في مجالات الحرف اليدوية والفنون الأدائية، حيث يتضمن الدعم تمويلًا وإدارة فنية و مواضيع تجارية مختلفة تبعًا لاحتياجات كل دورة، استشارات فنية، ومجموعة من الخدمات الإدارية المساندة مثل المالية والقانونية.
بينما تحافظ شركة تياترو الصعيد على تركيزها على تنمية المواهب، أنشأت أيضًا نموذجها الخاص لحضانة الأعمال، استلهاما من خبرتها مع نهضة المحروسة، خاصة بعدما أصبحت شركة. “حاضنة تياترو الصعيد للفنون الأدائية” تقدم ورش عمل ومساحة تمرين ومساعدة في إنتاج العروض مجموعات الفنون الأدائية الأخرى في المنيا والمناطق المحيطة بها. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، نظمت تياترو الصعيد فعاليات مثل “مهرجان المنيا للعروض القصيرة”، على الأرجح الأول من نوعه في المنيا. وقد تم بدعم من قبل معهد غوته و نهضة المحروسة .
تلتزم شركة تياترو الصعيد بتمكين الفنانين إلى ما هو أبعد من إنتاجاتها الخاصة. تهدف إلى تبسيط المسار للأجيال القادمة، كما أعرب مؤسسها، كيرو صابر. من خلال مشاركة تجاربها ومواردها، تسعى تياترو السعيد إلى خلق مجتمع فني صحي في المنيا وخارجها.
