Join interactive group training sessions focused on core business and sustainability topics, and selective in-depth 1:1 consultations to address your specific challenges.
Get paired with experienced Social Enterprise Support Managers who guide fellows throughout the program.
Access affordable legal and financial consultations through our in-house business support unit (BSU). Depending on your business needs, additional HR or marketing-related support may also be available.

Top-performing fellows will get exclusive access to a closed equipment support fund (up to EGP 75,000 per fellow) in in-kind funding to help purchase essential tools and equipment. They will also unlock advanced tracks in export readiness, circular design, and carbon efficiency.

Solutions that directly tackle climate challenges, whether through cleaner energy, smarter infrastructure, behavior change, or other methods.
Is This the Right Program for You?
If you’re an Egyptian entrepreneur in one of these sectors, and meet the criteria below, this fellowship program could be the right fit
- You're already working on a solution in one of the sectors above and your startup is creating measurable green and social impact
- Your startup operates in Greater Cairo or the Delta region (with priority given to startups operating in Kafr El Sheikh and Gharbeya)
- Your business model is validated and generating revenue, with a growing customer base and active distribution channels
- You, as the founder or co-founder, are fully dedicated and working full-time on growing your business
- You have a core team in place (whether full-time or part-time) that you plan to grow
- You’re looking to expand your market share and/or develop new products or services
- You've been operating and legally registered in Egypt for 2+ years (preferred)
- Your startup has a focus on women’s inclusion whether through employment, service provision, or improved access (highly encouraged, and we especially encourage women founders to appply)

Review and Shortlisting
All applications are reviewed against the criteria above. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interviews.
Interviews
Selected applicants participate in detailed interviews with our evaluation team.
Pitching and Selection
Finalists pitch to our selection panel, which will choose the fellows to join the program.

About the Program
The GreenShift fellowship is a 3-month program designed for green founders ready to scale their business. It is implemented by Nahdet El Mahrousa, Egypt and the Middle East’s 1st Incubator for early-stage social enterprises. We welcome applications from founders working across the clean and green economy, whether in waste management, climate action, or circular solutions. This program builds on our track record supporting founders through previous green acceleration rounds and working closely with social enterprises for 20+ years across a range of sectors.
About Us
Nahdet El Mahrousa (NM) is an Egyptian not-for-profit, non-governmental organization (NPO/NGO) that builds the capacities of organizations to improve and expand their social impact. It does so through a) an incubator program that supports social enterprsies from the idea stages all the way to the growth and scale up phases, b) a capacity building program for NGOs and other civil society organizations, and c) an entrepreneurs’ hub that offers business support services, coworking facilities, and a range of other services like trainings, workshops, events, and networking opportunities.
