Nabta is a space that connects people and informational resources in order to capture the collective intelligence and explore new solutions to social problems. We aim to organize gatherings where people meet, debate and take action. We believe that only through motivated, inspired people collaborating to share, explore & experiment can we realize new approaches. Online, Nabta's website, currently under development, will serve as a virtual platform to connect civil society organizations, and individuals, interested in collaboration and co-creation.
Nabta aims to help connect people to form self-organized communities that collectively contribute to social good. Whether through providing spaces for community gathering, facilitating discussions, or simply organizing a day out at a local public garden, Nabta aims to develop a sense of ownership over public spaces, and to decentralize the way decisions are made on the ground. We aim to instil the idea that each individual can contribute to changing his/her community, and that the best way to realize that change is through collaboration and co-creation. We do not claim to have solutions to any existing problems, but we hope to provide the space in which communities can collectively come up with a new model with which to approach their problems, creating more inclusive and bottom-up outcomes.
Nabta organizes gatherings around questions that arises in the development world that require our collective intelligence in order to explore the answers. A summary of the experiences and any conclusions would be documented and shared.
Nabta organizes gatherings around specific issues to explore solutions. Suggested solutions will documented and shared, while some solutions would be experimented through Nabta.
Nabta organizes gatherings in public places to connect people living around an area. Creating an environment that engages children and adults through artistic and educational activities, and providing a space for dialogue and creating local solutions.
The website, which is under construction, will serve as a platform for people involved in civil society to connect, share resources and have access to the collective information and opportunities (educational, volunteer, funding…etc)
